or use this formula to calculate the number of 36" pads required
for any pulley diameter and face width.
1. Divide the pulley diameter by 2 to determine the number of rows of pads needed to go around the pulley.
(I.E. 18'(dia)/2 = 9(rows of pads)
2. Multiply the number of rows of pads by the pulley face width.
(I.E. 9(rows of pads) x 24" = 216"
3. Divide by 36" to determine the quantity of full-length pads needed. Round up to the next full length.
(I.E. 216"/36" = 6(full-length pads) required
Note: The maximum spacing between Head Pulley sections is 3/4". If the spacing exceeds 3/4" the number of rows will not be correct.
